The D96-L is designed specifically for the D52mm system; it serves as an adapter plate that enables compatibility with the D96 series of workholding fixtures, effectively bridging the D52mm and D96mm systems.
When machining large workpieces using the D52mm system and its fixtures, insufficient clamping force can compromise machining rigidity. Switching from the D52mm system to the D96mm system in such situations is often cumbersome; however, the D96-L adapter plate (facilitating the transition from 52mm to 96mm) offers an ideal, highly practical solution to this issue.
Furthermore, the D96-L can be bolted directly onto the machine tool table or mounted onto the XDian 4-axis L-shaped bridge plate.
